  • Welcome to the home of the Rebels! APW JSHS is located on the Southern side of the Tug Hill Plateau in Oswego County. The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District is nestled in the center of some of the most beautiful country Central New York has to offer. Our school is a grade 7-12 building, with an enrollment of approximately 550 students. Our school offers a rigorous academic program as well as an opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports and numerous clubs and afterschool activities. We believe that the more our students are involved, the better-prepared our students will be for the world after high school.

Preparing young adults for the challenges of the 21st Century is a demanding one.  The faculty and staff are committed to providing our students with the education that will prepare them for their post-secondary endeavors, both academically and socially, so that they may become responsible and contributing members of our society. This preparation includes the use of the latest technology, college and career pathways, and opportunities to earn college credit while in high school. Know that we strive to live the district’s mission; “Because we believe in the potential of each student, we provide diverse opportunities and a competitive education for all learners.”

Our students have demonstrated excellence in all aspects of the school environment. The hard work and effort our students demonstrate inspire our faculty and staff to continue to learn and grow as professionals. As a result, every opportunity is made to provide our students with the best academic support systems available to ensure success for ALL students. We are looking forward to working together as a school community in order to successfully meet the challenges of educating students who will be ready to positively impact the world around them.

    At APW, we believe that...

    • Integrity must be the foundation for all we say and do.
    • All students and staff can attain their individualized achievement goals with support.
    • Our interactions with each other should demonstrate care and compassion.
    • As an organization and as individuals, continuous growth is essential for improvement.
    • Safety for all begins with inclusive practices and welcoming spaces that create a sense of belonging.

I wish each and every student and family only the best this school year! I value collaboration among our school and community and welcome your involvement. Please contact me with your ideas, questions and suggestions.

Academics at its best! Pursuit of Excellent! Where students come first!

  • Hello Rebels!!! I am so excited to be completing my Administrative Internship as the Assistant Principal at the JrSr High School this year!  My educational background includes earning my Associates degree in Human Services from Jefferson Community College, my Bachelors in Social Work from Keuka College and then obtaining my Masters of Social Work from Syracuse University.  My experience as a Social Worker involves working in the foster care system, mental health counselor, school social worker and then my most recent position as a behavior specialist at the APW school district.  Working at APW has allowed for many leadership opportunities within the school system. I made the decision to get my C.A.S. in Educational Leadership from SUNY Oswego. I chose to pursue my degree in Educational Leadership because I wanted to be part of solutions that students and families experience with the educational system. As a leader it is my priority to advocate for students, ensure equity for all students and help build and maintain a positive school culture.

I have lived in the APW community for 18 years where I have a small hobby farm that I enjoy spending time with all of my many animals!  When I am not in school I love being with my family, going camping and attending local events.  I am looking forward to working with you all in a different role this year and look forward to hearing from you!  Please call, email or stop in with any concerns or questions!
