APW Central Schools District Goals

    APWCSD will provide opportunities for growth and development for all students, guiding them from where they are to where they want to be.

    • APW will ensure growth and academic achievement by supporting academic priorities that align with the Superintendent’s building and district goals, such as career and technical education, enrichment, Advanced Placement/College credit-bearing class offerings, etc.

    • APWCSD will communicate effectively with all stakeholders

      • Parents

        • Staff and administrators understand that communication with families is a consistent priority

        • Parents will receive information about the appropriate channels of communication

      • Community members

        • Superintendent will host at least 3 community forums each year

        • (Rebel Alliance –sign up procedure for robo-calls/mailers)

      • Staff

        • Staff will receive information about the appropriate channels of communication with administration and BOE

      • Board members

        • Board will hold monthly leadership meetings (board officers and at least one additional board member) with the Superintendent

        • Board will hold at least 4 BOE/Superintendent retreats during the academic year

      • Students

        • Students will have an ex officio student liaison at Board of Education meetings to provide student feedback

        • Students will receive information about the appropriate channels of communication/schooltool

      • APWCSD will maintain fiscal responsibility in order to maximize programming and physical safety for all students while recognizing the importance of investing in our future

      • APWCSD will support a positive and rigorous culture of student learning by recruiting and retaining highly qualified and motivated staff

      • BOE will support ongoing professional development opportunities for all district faculty and staff
