Isabella Scott and Jason Bobanick dedicated themselves to their studies throughout high school, earning the top honors of Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Class of 2024.

 

We asked them interview questions to give you a glimpse into their lives, their time spent at APW and their future goals.

 

Class of 2024 Valedictorian: Isabella Scott

 

What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject in school is science.

 

What do you love most about APW?

I love the friend group that I have created.

 

What extra-curricular activities are you involved in?

I am involved in soccer, indoor track, track and OCAY League.

 

What will you miss the most after you leave APW?

I will miss track the most.

 

Who was the most influential person during your time at APW?

My English teacher Ms. Mercurio.

 

What are your plans for college?

I plan to major in biology at Coastal Carolina.

 

What is your career goal after college?

I want to become an anesthesiologist assistant.

 

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I have a cat named Doja and I taught him how to play hide-and-seek tag.

 

Do you have any words of wisdom to leave for the underclassmen?

Have fun and try not to stress out about schoolwork because in the end it will all work out.

 

Class of 2024 Salutatorian: Jason Bobanick

 

What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subjects are science and math.

 

What do you love most about APW?

I love the people and have made some great friends here.

 

What extra-curricular activities are you involved in?

I am involved in Student Government, NHS, GSA and the Tri-M Honor Society.

 

What will you miss the most after you leave APW?

I will miss eating lunch with my friends every day.

 

Who was the most influential person during your time at APW?

Mr. Stewart, and I strive to be like him when I’m older.

 

What are your plans for college?

I plan to Major in Biology at LeMoyne College and attend Dental School.

 

What is your career goal after college?

I would like to be a Forensic Odontologist.

 

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I love music and collecting vinyl.

 

Do you have any words of wisdom to leave for the underclassmen?

Don’t put too much on your plate and take on what you can’t handle.
