    Due to severe weather conditions and the forecast of continued inclement winter weather conditions, and with the safety of our students and staff in mind, I am closing the schools in the APW District today. You are reminded that a District-wide weather related closing means that all school sponsored and related activities are cancelled. There are no exceptions.

  • APW Trap Team Open House and Information Session

    Wednesday, Jan. 30th at 5:30 pm in the APW High School Auditorium

    If you are interested in learning more about our new Trap Team, come on out and meet the coaches!

    Parent/Guardian(s) are encouraged to attend. Students must be 12 years of age by 3/31/19 in order to participate.

  • Upcoming REGENTS Exams Jan 22-25

    This is a reminder that due to the Regents Exams there will be no regular classes for students in grades 7-12 next week, January 22nd - 25th.

    Students who are scheduled to take a Regents Exam, AP Exam, or other exam next week will be provided transportation to school on their regular morning run. This will be the only district transportation to school for students.

    Students who do not have an afternoon exam will be provided transportation home mid-day. The 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm bus runs will both also be provided at the JSHS during Regents week.

  • APW Universal Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment for 2019-2020

    Enrollment for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (APW) Central School District has now begun for the 2019-20 school year.

    APW UPK is a half-day program providing a variety of exciting educational experiences to help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally as well as achieve their highest potential.  The program is operated with a state grant and is offered at no cost to children turning four years old on or before Dec 1, 2019.  Children cannot be of school age and must be a legal resident of the APW School District.

    Registration paperwork has been mailed to eligible families based on census listings.  If you are interested in being sent a registration packet or have any questions regarding the program please contact the Elementary main office at (315) 625-5260.
