APW JSHS Hosts News Channel 9 Friday Morning Lights
On a cold and early morning mid-October, Rebels gathered in the gynmasium of the JSHS for News Channel 9’s “Friday Morning Lights”. Over the course of 7 weeks, the news crew traveled around central NY state, visiting various schools to film their Friday morning news segment “Friday Morning Lights.” The crew traveled to Parish to film the final segment of the season with the APW Rebels.
As the band filled the gym with familular notes and students cheered in excitement, the broadcast began. The morning included weather forecasts, interviews with students, cheers lead by the cheer team, football plays and more. The Rebels brought their energy, despite the early arrival time of 5:30 AM, and maintained their excitement throughout the hour long live broadcast.
APW is honored to have spent the morning with News Channel 9 and happy to show central NY their Rebel pride.
